Taking into account the growing flow of Chinese goods to Europe, while investing in infrastructure development, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan can form the transport and logistics centers on their territories for goods from Europe to the Far East, Azerbaijani political analyst Rovshan Ibrahimov said.

Ibrahimov made this statement as part of a round table entitled "Global Test Time: New Challenges" in Astana.

"Azerbaijan has the state program entitled "Look into the Future-2020"," he said. "It focused on the development of infrastructure projects, as well as non-oil sectors of the economy.

There is a similar program in Kazakhstan, called "Nurly Zhol". These state programs are our response to the crisis. By creating the infrastructure, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan can play the role of transport corridors between East and West."

"At the same time, the statements made by the representatives of Saudi Arabia that the oil price can fall to $ 25 a barrel are more political in nature.

"It is important for our economies to scientifically determine the challenges to take preventive measures," the expert said.
