TeliaSonera revenues on the Azerbaijani market in 2014 decreased by 1.2 percent compared with 2013, said the report of the company TeliaSonera on the results of 2014, released Jan.29.
The net proceeds from the sales of TeliaSonera in 2014 decreased from 3.824 billion Swedish kronor (SEK) to 3.778 billion SEK compared to the same period in 2013, according to the report.
The volume of the company's profit before payment of interest, taxes and amortization assessments (EBITDA margin) increased from 50 percent to 54 percent in Azerbaijan in 2014 compared to the same period in 2013.
Fintur Holdings B.V, in which TeliaSonera owns 58 percent, has a share in the Azercell company, which is a mobile operator in Azerbaijan.
The subscriber base of Azercell at the end of 2014 increased by 4.3 percent and reached 4.567 million, according to the TeliaSonera.
