Sea voyages have been cancelled in Turkey's Istanbul city due to the snowfall, strong winds and severe storm that has been continuing for several days, Anadolu agency reported Feb.2.
The cancelled sea voyages are those scheduled for Feb.2, however no information has been provided about their postponement date so far.
Heavy storm across the Turkey that has been continuing for the second day caused the deaths of five people in Balikesir, Canakkale and Bursa provinces of Turkey.
In Bursa, three people were killed and 110 others injured, over 300 rooftops and 100 cars were damaged.
Numerous electricity pylons, trees and roofs collapsed in the provinces of Istanbul, Bursa and Yalova.
