Kazakh railways to implement several investment projects in Kazakhstan’s regions

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakh railways) plans to implement a number of innovation projects in the field of railway engineering in Kazakhstan's regions, the company said on Feb. 4.

The company signed memorandums of cooperation in creation of such projects with regional authorities of Akmola, Almaty, Aktobe, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Kostanai, Karaganda, Pavlodar and North Kazakhstan regions.

The total cost of memoranda is 68.4 billion tenge (184.75 tenge = $1).

These documents were signed in the framework of implementation of the governmental "Action Plan on measures to support industrial enterprises in 2015".

Memoranda of cooperation are also urged to help in implementing large-scale state measures for future economic development.

In the near future Kazakhstan Temir Zholy plans to sign a document on cooperation with enterprises of Astana manufacturing sector.
