Georgia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed a memorandum of cooperation in connection with the annual meeting of the EBRD Board of managers and Business Forum in Tbilisi, said the message of the bank on Feb.10.
The annual meeting of the EBRD will be held May 13-15. This will be the first meeting of EBRD managers held in the region of the Caucasus.
The document was signed by the Minister of Finance and EBRD Georgia's manager Nodar Khaduri and the Secretary General of the Bank Enzo Quattrociocche.
The upcoming meeting is expected to involve up to 2,000 representatives of 64 member states of the EBRD, international organizations, and business.
During the annual meeting of the EBRD Board of managers the bank's activity is estimated and its future strategic directions are defined.
