Iran's petrochemical exports on highest level since 2012

Iran's petrochemical products exports increased 25.31 percent year-to-year.

According to a report published by Iran Custom Administration on March 2, Iran exported 17.19 million tons of petrochemical products during eleven month of current fiscal year.

Iran's fiscal year starts on March.21.

The report says that Iran's revenues from exporting petrochemicals reached $13.148 billion during the mentioned period, indicating a 31.86 percent increase in value.

The value of Iran's petrochemical product exports before western sanctions was $1.25 billion per month on average, but decreased to $864.6 million during 11 months of last Iranian fiscal year.

However, the customs' new report indicates the average monthly incomes from petrochemical products during last 11 months at $1.195 billion per month on average.

Iran also exported 2.391 million tons and 1.529 million tons of propane and butane, respectively granted Iran $2.097 billion and $1.363 revenues during last 11 months.

The country's total non-oil exports (including gas condensate) were $46.306 billion, while imports reached $48.258 billion during the mentioned period. Iran's non-oil exports increased by 22.5 percent and its imports experienced a 12.3 percent growth year-to-year.
