WizzAir company, popular among tourists because of its cheap passenger traffic, postponed making flights from Baku to Europe, the company told Trend March 17.
Earlier, the company announced about initiating flights from Baku to Budapest in April. But online booking of tickets for April is not available now. The flights were to be made twice a week. A Baku-Budapest-Baku ticket is 160 euros on the official website of the company.
The company said that the previously purchased tickets can be changed for other dates. If the customers want, the company can pay compensation amounting to 20 percent of the ticket price. The company also offers its flights from Kutaisi (Georgia).
"The flights are expected to be resumed from May 4," the company said.
The official exchange rate is 1.1081 AZN/EUR March 18.
