Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC will open a direct regular flight on Baku - Nizhny Novgorod-Baku route in the early summer of 2015, said the message posted on the website of the Strigino International Airport of Nizhny Novgorod.
The direct flights on the mentioned route will start from June 6.
"The flights will be carried out by Embraer-190 aircraft on Saturdays," said the message. "Starting from July 29, the flights on the mentioned route will be carried out on Wednesdays as well."
Previously, in 2014, Maharram Safarli, AZAL spokesperson told Trend that the company intends to open new regular flights to the Russian cities of Perm, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod and the Belarusian capital of Minsk during the spring-summer season.
Currently AZAL fleet consists of modern planes that meet all safety requirements.
