Employees of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan will work in emergency mode during the first European Games in Baku, the chairman of the Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev told reporters Apr.8.

"In this regard, special on site trainings are conducted for customs officials," said the head of the State Customs Committee. "Currently, the main work to register the baggage of citizens arriving in Azerbaijan as well as goods coming into the country within the framework of European Games is being implemented in a timely manner. I would like to note that the work to register the cargo is almost complete, all loads were safely delivered to Azerbaijan."

Aliyev also mentioned the measures aimed at educating people coming into the country.

"We have created a special memory tickler containing the customs regulations in force in our country and submitted it to the appropriate authorities so that they would introduce the customs regulations of Azerbaijan to all the arriving people," said the head of the committee.

Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.
