A company for development of projects for the automation of work in industry, in particular in the oil and gas sector, has been created in Kazakhstan, the press service of the KazMunayGas Kazakh national oil and gas company said.

KMG Automation LLP has been created by KazMunayGas as a subsidiary of KMG Systems & Services LLP and the Schneider Electric company, which is one of the world leaders in the field of energy management and industrial automation.

The new joint venture by using local staff plans to develop and implement projects for technological processes automation of the world level for a variety of industries of Kazakhstan, and especially oil and gas complex.

The main objective of the joint venture is to develop local staff capacity and the deployment of the local assembly systems in Kazakhstan in the field of industrial automation, software and energy management. It is expected that KMG Automation will provide Kazakh industry with advanced solutions to increase production efficiency and safety.

The joint venture will include the business unit Industrial Automation of Schneider Electric in Kazakhstan and will present products and solutions under the trademarks Foxboro®, Triconex®, SimSci®, Avantis® and Wonderware® on exclusive rights in the oil and gas industry of the country.
