On the results of January-May 2015, the state budget revenues of Turkmenistan have been fulfilled at 102.6 percent, while the expenditures - at 90.2 percent, said the message of the Ministry of Finance of Turkmenistan.

"Salaries, pensions, state benefits and student scholarships were paid in a timely manner," said the message.

The state budget revenues of Turkmenistan for 2015 approved by the Majlis (Parliament) are projected at 102.800,8 billion Turkmen manats, ($1 = 3.5 Turkmen manats), while expenses - at 106.200,8 billion Turkmen manats. Since January 1, 2015 the official exchange rate in Turkmenistan remains at 3.50 Turkmen manats to the US dollar.

Turkmenistan holds one of the key positions in the region on the natural gas supplies. Russia, China and Iran are gas importers.

The revenue part of the budget of the country is mainly formed due to such sectors of the industry as oil and gas, chemical, electric power industry, construction.
