Bakcell, The First Mobile Operator and The Leading Mobile Internet Provider of Azerbaijan, together with the Azerbaijan Journalists' Network Public Association (AJN) have completed the second round of trainings, organized for the sports journalists within the frames the "Supporting football journalism in Azerbaijan" project.
During the two-day long mobile multimedia training, held by British trainer Dan Mason, sports journalists, mainly specializing in football journalism, have acquired knowledge and skills on effective usage of multimedia.
The main goal of this project is to improve the level of knowledge and skills of local journalists specializing in football, and bring their professional competence to an international level. Moreover, thanks to the special training program, the journalists will acquire information about all the advantages of modern media, and gain knowledge at practical trainings, which will help them in delivering football news to local audience in even more improved manner.
This two-month project consists of 4-day training session and 6 weeks of further online trainings. Football related trainings are delivered by the local specialists, while the trainings on the subject of multimedia are conducted by the new media specialist from Great Britain.
The closing ceremony of the training session will be held in the month of July, on the eve of the National Press Day. The participants will be awarded with certificates. One of the participants, who successfully complete the training sessions and online tasks, will travel to Manchester.
