According to a report by Iran's Statistics Center the country's economic inflation at the end of the Iranian month of Khordad (June 21) was registered at 14.2 percent.
The overall index at the time of the report shows 211.3 which comes with a growth of 1.2 percent compared to the preceding month.
The index shows a growth of 14.2 percent when compared to that of the same time the preceding year.
The index for foods, drinks, and narcotics was 249.6, which shows a growth of 0.7 percent compared to the preceding month and a growth of 16.2 percent when compared to the same time last year.
The index for services and non-edible goods hit 198.2. That number comes with a monthly growth of 1.4 percent and an annual growth of 13.6 percent.
