An oil refinery in the city of Turkmenbashi will increase the volume of oil refining to 10.5 million tons per year, and the depth of hydrocarbon processing at the plant will amount to 95 percent in the near future, said the message released by the ministry of petroleum and mineral resources of Turkmenistan.
In particular, construction of new rigs of primary oil refining ELDAD-HT-7 and rigs intended for the production of high-octane motor gasoline, plant for production of polypropylene film is nearing its completion at the refinery.
The new projects include construction of rigs on refining of diesel fuel with hydrogen and extraction of sulfur from gasoline with the help of hydrogen, rigs of delayed coking and catalytic cracking, rigs producing hydrogen, and so on.
