The governments of Azerbaijan and Serbia will review the opportunities for developing the trade and economic cooperation in coming years, Milorad Crevar, firs counselor of Serbian embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend Sept.23.

The talks will be held during the fourth meeting of Azerbaijan-Serbia intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation to be held Sept.28-29 in Baku, according to Crevar.

He said that the Serbian delegation will be led by the country's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic.

Crevar added that the delegation will also include the representatives of Serbia's business circles.

During the visit, Ljajic will hold meetings with Azerbaijani prime minister, minister of economy and industry, culture and tourism, communications and high technologies, he said.

Crevar added that the sides are expected to sign a protocol following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission.

From the Azerbaijani side, the intergovernmental commission will be led by the country's Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev.

Serbia and Azerbaijan are strategic partners and their bilateral relations develop dynamically.

The trade turnover between the two countries stood at $2.772 million in Jan.-July 2015, according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
