By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) main index increased by 0.8 percent on October 17 day-to-day.
The main index increased by 495 points and stood at 62,447, according to the tse.ir website.
The main and the secondary market indices increased by 463 points and 429 points, respectively, reaching 43552 and 137575, respectively.
TSE trades a range of shares, funds and financial instruments, including Sukuk and Islamic funds. It has not received foreign investment for several years because of sanctions over Iran's nuclear program.
