The construction of the second stage of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran is estimated at approximately $11 billion, Alexander Novak, the Russian Energy Minister, said, RIA Novosti reported.
"The second stage of the Bushehr nuclear power plant is almost $11 billion," Novak said in an interview with Russia 24 TV channel. "Zarubezhneft company is considering several projects worth about $6 billion."
"These projects are being considered," he said.
Earlier, Novak said that Russia and Iran are considering the possibility of financing joint projects in the medium term in the amount of $35-40 billion.
Novak also said that the Iranian delegation plans to visit Moscow in the near future to discuss the conditions for the establishment of the Russian-Iranian bank.
"All details will be discussed after the principled decision," he said. "We agreed that the Iranian delegation would arrive specially to discuss the details."
