Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company suffers losses

Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) lost 12.584 billion tenge from Jan.-Sept. 2015, while it got 1.805 billion tenge worth profit in the same period in 2014, said the website of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The official exchange rate on Nov.16 is 307.73 tenge/1$.

The operating profit of KEGOC stood at 10.299 billion tenge in the first nine months of 2015, compared to 12.477 billion tenge in the same period in 2014.

During the reporting period, the company's income totaled 79.109 billion tenge, compared to 61.134 billion tenge in the same period in 2014.

KEGOC's assets rose from 549.928 billion tenge in early 2015 to 560.959 billion tenge as of late September.

The company's capital has decreased from 359.777 billion tenge to 338.616 billion tenge in the first nine months of 2015.

Its obligations have increased from 190.151 billion tenge to 222.244 billion tenge.
