One of Uzbekistan’s top 10 banks increases assets by nearly 17%

Uzbekistan’s Agricultural Construction Bank, one of the country’s top 10 banks, increased assets calculated in line with national accounting standards by 16.7 percent in Jan.-Sept. 2015, compared to final indicators for 2014.

Uzbekistan's Agricultural Construction Bank, one of the country's top 10 banks, increased assets calculated in line with national accounting standards by 16.7 percent in Jan.-Sept. 2015, compared to final indicators for 2014.

Thus, the assets stood at 4.05 trillion soums, the Bank's officials told Trend Nov. 16.

Meanwhile, the Bank's loan investments during this period rose by 16.9 percent to 3.522 trillion soums, of which 97.9 percent are long-term investments.

The Bank's total capital during the first nine months this year rose by 5.9 percent standing at 394.1 billions soums.

The Agricultural Construction Bank was created in line with Uzbek president's decree March 2009.

Official rate as of Nov. 16 is 2706.59 soums/$1.
