The issue of initiating the flights to Perm by the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) is still being considered, Pasha Kesamanski, the spokesman for AZAL, told Trend Nov. 19.
Kesamanski was commenting on the recent information on the website of Perm Bolshoye Savino Airport about initiating the flights to Perm by AZAL.
"This issue is being considered by AZAL," he said. "The final decision has not been made yet."
Earlier, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency allowed Yamal airline to initiate the Perm-Baku flights twice a week. According to the project, the flights must be made by A320 and Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
Red Wings, Izhavia and Grozny Avia are allowed to make the Perm-Baku flights. The tickets have not been sold yet.
