Deposit portfolio increases in Kazakh banks

The volume of deposits in Kazakhstan's second-tier banks stood at 13.9 trillion tenges (307.4 tenges = $1) as of September 2015, compared to 12.7 trillion tenges in August, Ranking.kz analytical service said.

The maximum growth of deposits was fixed in the People's Bank of Kazakhstan (Halyk Bank) - its portfolio has increased by 245.9 billion tenges and totaled 2.20 trillion tenges.

This is while the volume of deposits in Kazkommertsbank has increased by 190.7 billion tenges and stood at 2.92 trillion tenges.

The portfolio of the Savings Bank has grown by 158.9 billion tenges and reached 1.2 trillion tenges.

This figure has increased by 94.3 billion tenges and totaled 1.18 trillion tenges in Tsesnabank.

ATF Bank ranks fifth - the volume of its portfolio has increased by 90.7 billion tenges and stood at 668.7 billion tenges. Additionally, the bank saw the highest growth rate (15.7 percent) among top 5 banks.
