About 1000 Italian companies will visit Iran as part of three trade delegations during the course of a 30-day period starting from Nov. 21, according to Iran-Italy Chamber President Ahmad Pourfallah.
Pourfallah said the first delegation, composed of 300 companies will arrive in Tehran on Nov. 29-30.
He said the first delegation will consist of representatives of companies working in such spheres as ecology, renewable energies, medicine, industrial machines, tiles, mines, piping, etc.
Italy reduced its exports to Iran by 17 percent to $500 million during the seven months of current Iranian fiscal year, started on March 21.
Italy is the ninth largest exporter to Iran in the world.
