Turkmenistan has approved the state program on creation of enterprises for production of various kinds of electronic equipment in the country, the Turkmen "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper reported Jan.20.
The article said that the new program is aimed at creating resource and energy saving, environmentally friendly competitive electronic and electrical industry equipped with high technology, production of goods for domestic and foreign market.
The program provides for the creation of electronics industry, development of an appropriate system of provision through diversification of processing and production enterprises producing finished products.
In order to successfully implement the tasks defined in the above mentioned program, comprehensive measures for the organization of enterprises, training of qualified specialists for this sphere are provided.
In addition, it is scheduled to open a new manufacturing facility for the collection of electronic meters at the Ashgabat electrical plant. The first samples of these products have been already collected there, and their mass production will be established in the future.
