Azerbaijan imported 821 vehicles in January-February 2016 compared to 7,511 vehicles in the same period of 2015, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said in its statistics report March 17.
The report said that 737 cars and motor vehicles of the total number of vehicles were imported to the country in January-February 2016.
Azerbaijan imported 7,031 cars and motor vehicles in January-February 2015.
Moreover, Azerbaijan imported 67 trucks during this period (339 trucks as of January-February 2015). The remaining part of the import accounted for other types of vehicles.
The country imported 26,785 vehicles in 2015 compared to 63,368 vehicles imported in 2014.
