The revenues from the direct investments in Kazakhstan's economy have decreased by 56 percent in 2015 as compared to 2014 and stood at $8.5 billion, said the Energyprom.kz analytical service.

The inflow of direct investments in Kazakhstan was steadily growing until 2008, after which it started to slightly drop until 2010, recovered in 2011 and started to decline again in the subsequent years.

The inflow of direct investments in Kazakhstan stood at $4 billion in 2015.

The revenues from the direct investments in Kazakhstan stood at $8.5 billion as of 2015, or less than half of the record volume in 2011.

The revenues have decreased by around $11 billion in 2015 as compared to 2014.

Thus, the volume of direct investments in Kazakhstan and the revenues from those investments continued to decline in 2015.
