One of the three largest oil refineries in Kazakhstan, Atyrau refinery, increased production of high-octane gasoline to 203,260 tons in January-April 2016 (compared to 132,860 tons in the same period of 2015 and 103,550 tons in the same period of 2014), said the press service of the refinery.

The share of high-octane gasoline rose to 91.2 percent of the total volume of gasoline production in the reporting period (from 60.9 percent in the same period of 2015).

The quality of gasoline produced at the refinery meets the K-2 and K-3 standards (analogue of Euro-2 and Euro-3 standards in the Eurasian Economic Union).

The total oil processing at the refinery in the reporting period decreased by 262,100 tons compared to the same period of 2015 due to the shortage of oil supply. The capacity of the refinery is nearly five million tons of oil per year.

In May 2016, the refinery is expected to receive 427,200 tons of oil. In view of this, processing of raw materials in May will amount to 420,000 tons, including light blend oil - 11,000 tons.
