Azerbaijan imported 2,879 vehicles in January-July 2016 as compared to 19,476 vehicles in the same period of 2015, according to a report issued by the State Customs Committee.
Cars and motor vehicles accounted for 2,475 of the total number of the vehicles imported by the country, said the report.
Azerbaijan imported 17,345 cars and motor vehicles in January-July 2015.
Moreover, the country imported 300 trucks during the period.
The remaining part of the imports accounted for other types of vehicles.
Azerbaijan imported 26,785 vehicles in 2015 as compared to 63,368 vehicles in 2014.
