French Air Liquide will start implementation of the project for industrial gases production in Kazakhstan until the end of 2016, Sputnik Kazakhstan quoted Kazakh Investment and Development Minister Jenis Kasymbek as saying.
An agreement to establish a joint venture for the industrial gases production was signed previously by a subsidiary of Kazakh KazMunaiGas national oil and gas company - KazMunaiGas Processing and Marketing and Air Liquide.
The agreement envisages outsourcing of the existing facilities producing hydrogen, nitrogen and other industrial gases at the refineries in Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent, possession and usage of the facilities, as well as construction of new industrial gases producing facilities on the terms of outsourcing.
