The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) raised 39.5 million manats at a deposit auction Oct. 10, the CBA said in a message.
The CBA was ready to receive 50 million manats from the banks through the auction.
The weighted average interest rate on deposit transactions, concluded at the auction, was 14.66 percent.
The CBA attracted 124 million manats from local banks in September through the deposit auctions.
The Central Bank began to hold deposit auctions in mid-June.
The CBA attracted over 400 million manats from local banks since the deposit auctions started.
As many as 32 banks operate in Azerbaijan, including 2 state-owned ones.
