In January-September 2016, Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee transferred over 1.65 billion manats to the state budget, a Committee report said.
Volume of payments increased by 47.3 percent in January-September 2016 compared to the same period of 2015.
In January-September 2016, revenues from customs duties were 436.2 million manats, from VAT – nearly 1.1 billion manats, from excise – 75.6 million manats, from highway use tax – 51.37 million manats.
In September 2016, the revenues were 227.65 million manats, with revenues from customs duties totaling 56.97 million manats, from VAT – 160.3 million manats, from excise – 7.95 million manats, from highway use tax – 2.4 million manats.
Compared to September 2015, the Committee increased its revenues from customs duties by nearly three times, from VAT – by 2.2 times, from excise – by 16.9 percent, from highway use tax – by 45.45 percent.
In total, the customs payments to Azerbaijan’s state budget for 2016 are forecast at 1.81 billion manats.
