Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee transferred almost 1.84 billion manats to the state budget in January-October 2016 that is by 46 percent more than in the same period of 2015, according to the Committee’s report.

In total, customs revenues of the Azerbaijani state budget are forecasted at the level of 1.81 billion manats in 2016 and the Committee overfulfilled the forecast by 30 million manats in January-October 2016.

During the period, revenues from customs duties totaled 493.3 million manats, value added tax (VAT) – more than 1.2 billion manats, excise tax – 81.5 million manats, highway-user tax – 53.86 million manats.

The revenues amounted to 183.1 million manats in October 2016. Revenues from customs duties reached 57.1 million manats in October 2016, VAT – 117.65 million manats, excise tax – 5.9 million manats, highway-user tax – 2.5 million manats.

Revenues from customs duties of the Committee increased by almost 69 percent, as compared to October 2015, from VAT – by 27.5 percent, highway-user tax – by 35.1 percent, while the revenues from the excise tax decreased by 4.8 percent.
