The lowest rate of Azerbaijan’s national currency, manat, against the US dollar was set at 1.7414 AZN/USD for Dec. 9 after a currency auction held by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on Dec. 8 with the participation of the country’s state oil fund SOFAZ, said the CBA.
The auction started with a price of 1.7369 manats per US dollar, according to the CBA.
