Orkhan Huseynov has been appointed the acting chairman of Executive Board at Azerbaijan’s Azer Turk Bank OJSC, Trend learned from the country’s financial circles Dec. 8.
This position has become vacant after the appointment of Khalid Ahadov, the former chairman, as the acting chairman of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA).
Orkhan Huseynov has served as deputy chairman at Bank Standard.
Azer Turk Bank started to operate in 1995 in Azerbaijan. Main shareholder of the bank is the country’s State Committee on Property Issues, which owns 75 percent of Azer Turk Bank’s shares.
