Zaur Garaisayev, deputy chairman of the board at Bank of Baku OJSC, who has been temporarily serving as acting chairman of the board, left the bank Jan. 18, a source in the bank has told Trend.
His position is currently vacant, according to the source.
Garaisayev has been appointed the chairman of the Supervisory Board at IBA-Moscow, a subsidiary of the International Bank of Azerbaijan in Russia, the source said.
The information has not been yet confirmed officially.
He succeeds Elmir Habibullayev in the IBA-Moscow.
Bank of Baku was established in 2005 following the merger of two private banks – Bank of Baku OJSC and IlkBank.
IBA-Moscow was founded in 2002.
