Kazakhstan’s Bank of Astana had a profit of 1.7 billion tenges in 2016

Kazakhstan’s Bank of Astana had a profit of 1.7 billion tenges in 2016, according to the bank’s financial statements posted on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).
In 2015 the bank’s profit was 1.49 billion tenges.

The bank’s income reached almost 1.83 billion tenges in the reporting period compared to 1.38 billion tenges in 2015.
Meanwhile, Bank of Astana’s operating income decreased from 8.88 billion tenges in 2015 to 7.95 billion tenges in 2016.

The bank’s assets increased from 223.67 billion tenges to 363.56 billion tenges in 2016. The capital of the bank rose from 23.49 billion tenges to 32.56 billion tenges in this period. Its liability increased from 200.18 billion tenges as of Jan. 1, 2016 to 330.99 billion tenges as of Jan. 1, 2017.

Bank of Astana was created in 2008. It provides a wide range of banking services to legal entities as well as individuals in eight cities of Kazakhstan – Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, Shymkent, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Pavlodar.
