Chairman of Board of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) Khalid Ahadov has been appointed vice-president of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA), the ABA said in a message Feb. 6.
According to the message, the decision was made at a general meeting of ABA members February 3.
Shakir Rahimov, member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Respublika, also joined the Presidium, the message said.
Rahimov replaced former chairperson of board of Bank Respublika Khadija Ismayilova, ABA said.
According to the message, Zakir Nuriyev, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rabitabank, heads the Presidium.
Chingiz Asadullayev, chairman of the Supervisory Board of AG Bank, is another ABA vice-president, ABA said.
The Presidium also includes chairman of the Supervisory Board of Xalq Bank Asim Mammadov, chairman of board of Kapital Bank Rovshan Allahverdiyev, chairman of board of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan Cenk Yuksel, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Unibank Eldar Garibov, chairman of board of PASHA Bank Taleh Kazimov, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bank of Baku Elchin Isayev and chairman of board of Aqrarkredit non-bank credit organization Mammad Musayev, ABA said.
