Nurlan Tleubayev was elected to the post of the chairman of the board of directors of Kazakh Delta Bank, the bank said.
His term of office will last until Oct. 10 2021.
Nurlan Tleubayev possesses 49 percent of the voting shares of Delta Bank. He was the 22th richest person in Kazakhstan in 2016, according to Forbes.
Previous Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delta Bank Galina Shalgimbaeva has been serving at this post since December 2011.
Delta Bank, founded in 1993, has a regional network of 11 branches. The bank’s assets amounted to 409.44 billion tenges (323 tenges = $1), loan portfolio – 343.21 billion tenges as of January 1 2017.
