Azerbaijan’s metallurgical industry and enterprises on production of finished goods from metal produced goods worth 43.7 million manats in January 2017, according to a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The report says that the output volume of metallurgical industry increased by 35.2 percent and the production of finished goods - by 27.3 percent during the reporting period.
Azerbaijan produced 24,000 tons of fittings in January 2017 that is by 56.9 percent more than in the same period of 2016. Steel pipe production stood at 9,400 tons in January 2017 that is by 15.5 times more than in the same period of 2016.
The volume of steel casting stood at 34,300 tons in the country in January 2017 that is by 19.2 percent more than in the same period of 2016.
Azerbaijan exported 56,228.9 tons of ferrous metal worth $43.444 million in 2016 that is by 5.3 times more than in 2015.
