Azerbaijan exported goods worth $176.17 million to Georgia in January-March 2017 that is by 39.3 percent more than in the 1Q2016, according to a report of Georgia’s National Statistics Office.
According to the report, Azerbaijan ranks second with the specific weight of 10.3 percent (8.5 percent in 1Q2016) among main exporters to Georgia.
Turkey is the leader here with $275.96 million (16.2 percent), while Russia ranks third with $165.29 million (9.7 percent).
According to the report, Georgia’s trade turnover with Azerbaijan totaled $207.4 million in January-March 2017. The specific weight of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Georgia is 9.1 percent of total volume of Georgia’s foreign trade operations.
