Actual value of agricultural output in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.09 billion manats in January-April 2017, which is 3.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2016, reads a report of the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
The livestock production increased by 2.6 percent and crop production rose by 15.8 percent during the reporting period.
More than 9,900 tons of potatoes and 70,900 tons of vegetables were collected as of May 1, 2017, said the report.
Moreover, Azerbaijan produced 155,500 tons of meat (3 percent growth for the year), 630,700 tons of milk (1.3 percent growth), 578.1 million eggs (6.5 percent growth) and 1,720 tons of wool (40.9 percent growth) in January-April 2017.
