Earlier the department suspended to pay the company funds in the amount of $ 2 million. "We do not think the solution of the issue will be through the court. The company liquidates the cracks on the road. The management of the Turan Hazinadaroglu promises, that the problems specified, will be removed completely. According to the contract the company is responsible for the quality of works”, Panakhov noted.

"We will insist on the company to liquidate the problems and ensure the quality of

the road. If not, we may involve a new company for these works”, deputy Minister said.

The company admitted some technical failures, particularly, the whole highway through, no gutters had been built, due to which cracks appeared on the pavement.

The official opening ceremony of the highway of 21 km took place in early 2005. The project is financed by the loan of the International Development Association, in the amount of $40 million, the government allocated $8 million.
