The Association for development of regional financial institutions in the countries, members of the Islamic Bank of Development (ADFIMI) will hold a workshop entitled “Projects preparation and assessment”. The seminar is scheduled to take place in Baku on 4-8 July 2005. The event organizers are, except for ADFIMI, the Azerigazbank itself and the UniBank, the Azerigazbank told Trend.
The goal of the workshop is to train its participants on issues, emerging during the project works, particularly, on problems of projects preparation and their assessment, which are especially important for the developing countries. The seminar will be dedicated to the investment projects, including the importance of the invested funds distribution, modern technologies and criteria, applied for projects implementation, both from the financial and the national-economic standpoint.
The organizers consider the workshop’s theme essential and useful for bankers, private investors and civil servants, involved in preparation and assessment of projects. The workshop will enable the participants to apply local and foreign resources for the development of private and the social sector in the country to the best advantage.
