Ismet Abbasov, the Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister, met with Eytan Na’eh, the Israeli Ambassador for to Azerbaijan, the Agriculture Ministry announced. The meeting discussed the results of Abbasov’s visit to Israel on 14-17 June at the invitation of Israeli Agriculture Minister, Israel Kats.
The Minister informed the Ambassador about his visit, in particular, the meetings held with representatives from agrarian sector of Israel, different enterprises of the country in wine making, fruit-growing and get familiar with irrigation and hot-bed equipment.
The Minister said that the representatives of the above-said enterprises voiced their hope in running a business in Azerbaijan.
Na’eh underlined that the Israeli entrepreneurs are always ready to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the sphere of agriculture. Touching upon the agreement on cooperation between the two countries the Ministry said that the relevant proposals have been submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers for adoption.
