ITALY PROPOSED TO ESTABLISH AZERBAIJANI-ITALIAN TRADE CHAMBER

The delegation of the Italian Trade Chambers Confederation (Unioncamera) staying on a visit in Baku, proposed to set up a joint Azerbaijani-Italian Trade Chamber, the head of the delegation, vice-president of the “UnioncameraВ", president of the Trade Chamber of Salerno, Augustino Strianese said on 11 July during his meeting with the leadership of the Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Azerbaijan (CHCA), Trend reports.

Strianese noted, that similar structure has been successfully functioning in Georgia and it consists also of the Arbitration Court, which enables to settle all arising issues on the spot.

В"A joint trade Chamber will be judicially competent only after certifying the agreement by the governments of both countries and registration in the Ministries of Foreign affairs of Italy and Azerbaijan”, the Unioncamera vice-president noted, having marked, that the Italian judges will perform the authorities of the arbitration judges.

Strianese noted, that along with the officially registered joint trade chambers, there is a possibility in Italy for functioning of the Entrepreneurs Association, composed of the foreign companies, including the Azerbaijani ones.

Meanwhile the CHCA noted, that a large trade delegation from Italy is likely to arrive in Baku in October. Negotiations are underway on the issue.
