$400m is required for the construction and reconstruction of the 243km-long Alat-Astara motorway, the Transport Ministry told Trend. $300m will be allocated by the World Bank and the rest $100m вЂ" by Azerbaijan ($60m) and Iran ($40m).
The Ministry said late this July a World Bank mission will visit Azerbaijan to hold talks with the representatives of the Ministry on the development of the feasibility study of the project to be designed jointly with the WB experts. Iran allotted $2m in this respect under the memorandum signed in this respect.
