The training component of the project on state investment policy and effectiveness will start since 2006. The trainings will be conduct for heads and employees of the Economic Development Ministry and other ministries, Javanshir Abdullayev, the head of the Azerbaijani Banking Education Center (ABUC) told Trend.
“American and local specialists conducted analyze at the Economic Development Ministry and other ministries to define demand in trainings on development and appraisal of the state investment projects.
The project team designed an action plan for next period, which will be confirmed in August. But the trainings on issues of selection, development and appraisal of state investment projects will start in 2006,” Abdullayev noted.
The budget of the 3-year project, which will be financed by USAID, comprises $4m. The contractors of the project are Development Alternatives International and Bearing Point, subcontractor вЂ" ABUC, beneficiary вЂ" Economic Development Ministry. The project aimed at improvement of the investment environment.
