ABOUT 15M PEOPLE VISITED AZERBAIJANI PAVILION AT WORLD EXHIBITION EXPO 2005 AICHI-JAPAN

15 million people have visited the Azerbaijani pavilion at the World Exhibition so far, which started in Nagoya, the capital of the Aichi province, Japan, on 26 March and will last till 26 September, Zahid Muradov, the Director of the Azerbaijani pavilion, representative of Chamber of Trade and Industry, told Trend.

According to Muradov, there is great interest in the Azerbaijani pavilion and 18,000 to 20,000 people visited it. The visitors received overhaul information about history, culture, economy, investments opportunities and business atmosphere in the country.

The World Exhibition is being held under the motto �Wisdom of nature’, where 125 countries participate. The Azerbaijani pavilion is dedicated to the protection of the environment, keeping of the culture heritage, the history of the Great Silk Way and the key positions of Azerbaijan in the TRACECA program.

In accordance with the traditions of the international exhibition, a national day of Azerbaijan was held within the exhibition.
