The next sitting of the Association of the Central Depositaries of the Euro-Asia countries will be held in Moscow in October. The framework rules for operation of central depositaries of the Euro-Asian countries will be discussed at the meeting, Director of the National Depositary Center of Azerbaijan Nidjat Mamedov told Trend.
"The draft rules has been already presented to the members of the Association, and is currently under consideration. The document, on the whole, as the preliminary analysis shows, conforms to the legislation of Azerbaijan.
The same time, the clause on keeping all securities lists, circulating at the organized market by the central depository only is unacceptable for Azerbaijan. In any case, framework rules will bear a recommendation character”, Mamedov said.
