The funds of the Stabilization Fund will be managed in accordance with the general strategy on management the financial reserves of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ). Samir Sharifov, the Executive Director of the SOFAZ said that the funds were re-transferred to the SOFAZ under simple transfer.
The SOFAZ was not charged in the management with regard to transfer the profitability to the Finances Ministry. In this connection the funds will be managed by the SOFAZ, like the rest funds.
Earlier they said on the necessity of a normative base to carry out the management. 325bn manats has been accumulated in the special accounts of the Treasury after the transfer of funds of the Stabilization Fund.
