Sowing of legumes was 1,700 hectares in the current year in the Nakhchevan Autonomous Republic (NAR).
The total area of agricultural plants was 49,000 hectares, 24,000 hectares of which fall at the cereals, the permanent representative office of NAR told Trend.
The representative office also noted, the spring crop of barley in NAR is around 23,000 hectares. Besides, the maize crop takes the area of 991 ha. Along with this, the total area of vegetables is about 5,700 hectares.
